At Paradise Park you’ll meet lots of colourful birds including many rare and beautiful parrots, flamingos, toucans and red-billed Cornish choughs. With over 650 birds there is a stunning collection to see. Plus lots more wildlife including Red squirrels, Red pandas, two species of otter and some furry friends in our Fun Farm including donkeys, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and more. Paradise Park’s Jungle Barn indoor play centre is fabulous fun whatever the weather. With giant slides, challenging soft play and special toddler zone with ball fountain.

Make the most of your visit: Explore the Wild Woods Nature Trail, check out the Seal Rescue Centre. Visit the pirate themed play area and sail your way through the obstacle course. Meet the ponies, goats and sheep in the paddock and watch the interactive talks and feeding demonstrations. 

The Monkey Sanctuary – 0844 272 1271 – 
The Monkey Sanctuary cares for a range of different species of monkeys; all rescued from the UK and international primate pet trades. When visiting you receive an intimate insight into a working sanctuary with keepers on hand all day to give informative talks on the centres residents and the wider work of the charity, Wild Futures. The Sanctuary offers a great day out for all the family, with wildlife gardens, children’s activity room, workshops, gift shop, cafe and picnic areas.

Screech Owl Wildlife Park – 01726 860182 –
When you visit the Owl Sanctuary you will meet a large collection of owl species from all over the world and enjoy a unique chance to learn about owl conservation and education. There’s lots to do with close encounters, falconry displays, owl souvenirs and crafts, The Rainbow play area, flying displays daily (weather permitting) and guided tours available.

Porfell Wildlife Park & Sanctuary – 01503 220211 –
Porfell is home to exotic animals including beautiful birds like kookaburras and macaws, old reptiles like our giant leopard tortoises, amazing monkeys, graceful zebra and eland, crazy ostrich and an ever-growing gang of meerkats, Its is bigger than it looks, so put aside a good half day to make the most of your visit. On your visit, as well as the main enclosures, you can go on The African Adventure, have fun on The Children’s Farm, stroll though ancient woodlands and refuel at the Peacock tea rooms.  

Tamar Donkey Sanctuary – 01822 834072 –
Fun for all with donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs and guinea pigs to feed and pet, as well as meeting the animals you can have fun in the huge indoor play barn and much more.

Springfield’s Fun Park & Pony Centre – 01637 882132 –
Whatever the weather, Springfield’s giant indoor play barn and under cover activities mean there is always plenty to do. There are lots of ponies that can be ridden, groomed or will take you for a ride around the park in a carriage. Go–Karts, Rowing Boats, giant outdoor Astra Wave Slide, death drop slide and trampolines for active youngsters. Train rides around the park, toddler play area and pets corner for the little ones. Hands on animal action, bottle feed baby lams or take a walk along a woodland trail.
